flightsimrocks, Yeah, actually mine was 170 for the legs, and then 80 for the head which was not made by manfrotto. all in all it was almost 300, because I got a cheap ballhead too.

Never heard of that brand. How could the legs be much better, unless they’re lighter, stronger, or taller. Mine are light and strong enough, and honsetly I usually weigh mine down. If I were getting a new one, I’d get the ephoto one with fluid head for 120, its epic!

There’s a difference. try using a 150$ manfrotto then use a 300$ libec/vinten. You’ll see the difference even if they are similar spec wise.

@flightsimrocks WOW dude… Just get a manfrotto tripod for 150, and a 80 dollar fancier fluid head. Then get a DSLR like the t1i, the t3i is not much better. Heck, even a t1i with a few lenses is better than the 7d with the kit lens.

Lol this is so stupid. Get a fluid head, and use an actual camera…
Jeez, even a 200 dollar canon shit camcorder looks better than this. There is no depth of field, and absolutely no color.

But I guess if everybody thinks that they’re good, when doing this, then there wll be less good cinematographers/videographers.

    LOL.

Actually, if you don’t mind and are really into video, I’d recommend investing a higher-end professional fluid head tripod. These generally cost anywhere from US$200 – US$2000 depending on your needs. It may see abit much but trust me (i have one), once you pan/tilt a fluid head, you neever want to go back to ebay tripods :D

or you slightly tighten the pan knob…grab the base of the camera, and turn the base with both hands….no need to use the tripod arm, no need to use the rubberband.
